   CN Plus · UAE e-invoicing

   • Owned the full UX vision for CN Plus, the product enabling Sovos’s entry into the UAE e-invoicing compliance market — sole designer across invoice creation, bulk submission, master data and transaction detail, on a Peppol 5-corner flow reported to the Federal Tax Authority.
   • Designed invoice creation around ~115 mandatory PINT AE-1 fields, replacing a screen that surfaced ~20. Chose a single-page form with collapsible sections over a multi-step wizard, and pre-filled the document-context questions to remove an entire screen from the flow.
   • Defined the master data model for CN Plus: two entities separating tenant-level supplier records from company-scoped buyer records, with country-adaptive detail views under a single listing.
   • Designed new interaction patterns inside the Mosaic design system (MUI) with no custom components: field-level explainers, non-error guidance prompts, and field-level error breakdowns for bulk upload.

   Research & process

   • Built a proxy research program for a market with no live users: recruited active-invoicing customers in Peru through segmented Pendo guides and ran moderated Spanish-language sessions, after unmoderated testing failed to reach a viable pool.
   • Ran design ahead of the engineering sprint, delivering interactive HTML prototypes as the working source of truth for a distributed team in India across an 8-hour time-zone gap, with Figma for handoff and documentation.
   • Established a UX sign-off process with engineering after designs were being shown to customers before validation, closing a governance gap that had no owner.
   • Delivered two parallel design directions for the draft workspace so engineering stayed unblocked while an architectural dispute between two product teams was resolved.

   Platform & e-commerce

   • Led the redesign of pricing pages and landing experiences for Sovos e-commerce, contributing to $300-350K revenue above forecast and a 65% year-over-year reduction in support contact volume.
   • Led the UX redesign of the Sovos Taxify platform, serving 1,000+ enterprise clients globally, focusing on streamlining complex tax compliance workflows.
   • Conducted stakeholder interviews and usability audits to identify critical pain points in multi-jurisdictional tax processes.
